Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I buy a piece or get a price?
Several pieces and sizes are ready to order online, with the price on the product page. Larger formats and made-to-order sizes show Price on request: tell us about the room, ceiling height and finish, and the studio replies with pricing, lead time and configuration options. Call +91 98454 77300 or write to info@teeshaa.in.
How long does it take to make and deliver a piece?
Each product page states its lead time, and made-to-order pieces are typically 3 to 4 weeks. Delivery timelines are indicative and can vary with the product, the location and the courier. Tracking details are shared once an order is dispatched, where available, and shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout.
Where do you ship?
Every piece is designed, made and assembled in India, and we ship across India and worldwide to selected locations. Delivery to some remote or restricted areas may take longer or may not be available, and we will contact you to arrange an alternative. See the shipping policy.
Do you offer bespoke or custom designs?
Yes. Our team can adapt the size, finish or configuration of an existing piece, or design a fully bespoke piece for a specific space. See Bespoke by Teeshaa, or send project drawings to the studio.
What are your lights made from?
Spanish alabaster, a natural translucent stone, with metal fittings and finishes that vary by piece; the available finishes are listed on each product page. Design is led from Bangalore, and stonework, metalwork, engineering and assembly are carried out in Teeshaa's own facilities in India. Read more about the material.
Will my light look exactly like the photograph?
Not exactly, and that is part of the material. Alabaster varies in clouding, veining and mineral inclusions from block to block, so no two pieces are identical. For multi-part pieces we match sections for balance in colour, clouding and transmission. Natural variation is not treated as a defect under our returns policy.
How do I care for an alabaster light?
Clean it with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth and follow the care guide supplied with the piece. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners. Alabaster is a natural stone, and water or humidity damage is not covered by the warranty. More on the care page.
Do your lights come with a warranty?
Yes. Every light comes with a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects, covering the whole light. It does not cover physical damage, water or humidity damage, or damage caused by an installation done by anyone other than our team. You are welcome to use your own electrician, though we cannot then guarantee the installation.
Can I return a piece?
Returns are accepted only if a piece arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect. Report it within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs or videos. Custom-made, made-to-order and specially commissioned pieces are not eligible for returns, exchanges or refunds. Full terms are in the refund policy.
Can I see a piece in person?
Yes. Teeshaa has a design studio and workshop in Bangalore rather than a retail showroom, and visits are by appointment. You can see pieces lit and compare stone samples. Book through the contact page, on +91 98454 77300 or at info@teeshaa.in.
Who can join the trade programme, and how does it work?
Architects, interior designers, lighting consultants, developers, contractors, hospitality and retail buyers and dealers can apply. Fill in the application and the team reviews it, usually within 1 to 2 business days, and replies by email. Approved members see trade pricing on product pages when signed in, and can request drawings, samples and project pricing. See the trade programme.
Can you support large projects?
Yes, across residential, hospitality and commercial interiors. Before an order is placed, the team reviews scale, drop, sightlines, output, suspension and access, and can provide technical drawings, dimensions, weights, finishes, lead times and electrical information. Project-specific adaptations and bespoke commissions are available.
